Corneal Modeling Technology (CMT)

Gersten, Koplin and their collaborative team created the first computer-video-based Corneal Topographer (the CMS-1 ----Corneal Modeling System, and later the Topographic Modeling System, TMS.) These systems underwent complete development in the United States. Later, the Computed Anatomy product line was successfully exported from New York to a new production facility in Nagoya, Japan. The current product, the TMS-3, continues to be manufactured in Nagoya, Japan.
